Kastamonu Italia was founded in 2017 with the acquisition of the Trombini group by Kastamonu Entegre, a multinational world leader in the production of panels for the furniture industry. Founded in 1969 Kastamonu has decided to invest directly in the Italian market, the third in the world for production capacity and export of furniture.
Production capacity
Kastamonu Italia has 2 plants for the production of raw chipboard: the innovative plant located in Pomposa di Ferrara has an annual production capacity of 480,000 cubes of panel; the 2nd plant located in Frossasco is undergoing renovation and once completed it will have an annual capacity of 320,000 cubic meters. The properties are completed by the Luserna plant where glues and resins are produced for the construction of the boards and the Kastamonu Design Center in Pesaro, the nerve center of the group's research and development.
With an annual production capacity of 800,000 cubic meters, the Kastamonu group aims to obtain a share of 20% of the Italian market.

Research and development
